Support Childnet

Over the past year (2010 - 2011) Childnet has reached out to over 30,000 young people, 500 parents and countless staff, as well as working with governments and industry stakeholders worldwide not to mention the many more who access and use Childnet's information and learning resources.

Childnet excels at supporting users in a number of differing digital communities, encouraging young people to embrace the positives of the Internet and challenging them about their conduct and responsibilities on the Internet and empowering parents, carers, teachers and other education professionals to engage with the Internet and to support young people in their use of it.

The need for Childnet and this work is now more important than ever, as we increasingly see younger and younger children having greater access to and ownership of new technologies, but we can only continue do this vital work with the support and partnership of others.

During this year and the next we will do everything we can to continue to help make the internet and new technologies safe for children and to promote the voice of youth in a digital world. Join us in making the Internet a great and safe place by supporting Childnet International.

Childnet want to thank those who have supported and collaborated with us through grants, donations, in-kind support and paid services.

Since our earliest days we have valued the multi-stakeholder partnerships that have helped to support and sustain Childnet's work.

We have been proud to work alongside and receive support from various organisations including governments, regulators, charitable trusts and various commercial stakeholders.

This support helps us to continue to extend and amplify our voice – helping to make the internet a great and safe place for ever-more children and young people.
