Superhighway Patrol the innovative on-line activity where pupils become Net detectives is getting a new technical infrastructure. Learning from the lessons of the last five years the new design will be easy for pupils and teachers to use and control and equally exciting to use. Access is going to be monitored and safety is a key feature throughout.

David Casey, project manager at Childnet International said, ‘This is one of the most exciting developments of recent years, there will be more opportunity for interaction, between pupils and experts and we will be much better able to use the facilities that broadband offers.’ The new package will be used for the first time on 17th October for the activity on Internet Safety.
