Childnet participate in the world's leading educational information and communications technologies (ICT) event 11 – 14 January 2006

Childnet were pleased to partake recently in the world’s leading educational information and communications technologies (ICT) event at London’s Olympia. The annual show attracted over 27,000 visitors including teachers, Head teachers, ICT coordinators, lecturers and educationalists from all over the UK and around the world. BETT brings together the global teaching and learning community, offering visitors four days of innovations and inspirations including a vast of array of new products, services and ideas. Visitors also had the opportunity to enrich their ICT knowledge and skills at the numerous seminars, workshops and product demonstrations.

Childnet were one of over 600 educational suppliers inspiring visitors with our range of materials and resources for primary school and secondary school pupils, parents and teachers. Nicola Sanders, from Childnet who co-ordinated Childnet’s participation in the show says

“Childnet promoted its recent Know IT All resource for secondary schools and distributed numerous packs to delegates, each containing a sample of all of our leaflets and an order form with information on how to purchase more resources. It was also fantastic to reaffirm the way in which Childnet are leading the way in promoting the need for internet safety resources in the UK and world wide for young people, teachers, and parents”.
