Kidsmart Project launches new website 08 October 2004

Childnet International’s education and awareness programme – Kidsmart launches its new website today. The site includes the same up to date information for parents and teachers on helping to keep their children safe online and includes new interactive sections for Primary and Secondary age children including games, video and an exciting ‘join hands’ section. There is also a gallery for young people’s work and a new competition area. The site also provides information for Local Education Authorities, Libraries and Police Forces on how to use Kidsmart resources in the best way.

Helen Penn, Kidsmart Co-ordinator says:

“We are so excited to have launched this website. The new content provides more for parents, teachers, young people and other organisations as well as maintaining the quality of information people have experienced in the older site. The new website also showcases the wonderful resources which Kidsmart provide and we hope that the strength of the programmes reach will increase as more people use the site.”
