| Childnet announces launch of new website 05 March 2004 |
Childnet International today launched it’s new main Childnet website which seeks to present the activities and dynamic of the charity in a new way. As well as giving background information on the organisation and details of Childnet’s staff, publications safety advice etc, the website also serves as a central portal to the different award-winning online projects which Childnet has developed.

Speaking about the new site, Stephen Carrick-Davies, Childnet’s CEO says, “It is important for charities to be clear about their aims and objectives and to communicate these with their users and donors in an engaging, creative format. I hope our new website will give all those who are interested in our work clear information about our vision and a better means to link directly to our online projects or to contact us at Childnet”.
The new Childnet site has a new "Parent's Support" area which better links all the existing resources Childnet has produced for parents and parents can subscribe to a new monthly e-mail newsletter. An improved "New Mobile services" area of the new site also better groups the resources and responses Childnet has already made concerning Children's use of mobile phones and shortly include better safety advice for young people using mobile phones.
