What if you or your child does come across something illegal on a website, or mobile phone? In the UK there is an organisation called the Internet Watch Foundation who run a 'hotline' where you can report illegal content. This includes child abuse pictures (sometimes called child pornography) or obscene or racist content which is against the law. You can make a report by visiting their website at iwf.org.uk. Sadly there is a great deal of material on the internet that might cause offence, but which is technically not illegal.
