The first webpage which displays when you connect to the internet, is called your home page. It's easy to change your home page to be anything you like. For example if younger children are using the internet on your computer, you can make your home page into a child friendly website like the BBC’s children site.
To do this, type the address of the site that you would like to make your home page in the address bar and then click the arrow key, or press the ‘enter’ button on your keyboard. Once the page has loaded click on the arrow next to the ‘home’ icon in the menu bar and select the option ‘Add or change your home page’. This will bring up a box asking you to either make the current page your home page or to add it to the home page tabs, select the option ‘Use this webpage as your only home page’ and then click the ‘yes’ button.
